GRAMMAR I
ACADEMICS
The Lecturer

MADAM NUR HIDAYAH MD YAZID
When we had our first class together, the earliest thing that Madam Hidayah told us is that grammar is a bit similar to mathematics. I thought it wasn't that hard but I was really wrong. What Madam Hidayah said is true, each and every topic we learned, it had its set of rules and how we can specifically use them.

She taught me a lot and she's always open to answer the class's questions when we get confused. For me, I'm still getting the hang of it myself.
The class sessions
This course introduces students to the basic concepts of English grammar. It aims to provide a foundation of English grammar and focuses on form, meaning, and grammatical concepts. Students are exposed to the formal rules of grammar so that they can bridge the gap between knowing the grammar rules and using them appropriately.

Everyone in the class appreciates her a lot, that includes me too!
Assessments and Assignments

Discourse Analysis
For my first assessment, I think I did good but I'm targeting a better performance for my other upcoming ones. Our lecturer gave us tons of practices because, just like mathematics, I need continuous practise to improve.
Assignments
For assignments, we had one called Discourse Analysis and I'm forever grateful for my lecturer for constantly having consultation sessions for all of my classmates. I noticed my errors and I get to understand the topics better. Especially when it came to Determiners and Pronouns, I still get confused sometimes.
