MADAM SITI NORIDA ABDUL KADIR

My lecturer, Madam Norida is a passionate lecturer that really helps understand in depths of the concepts, reasonings and philosophy of Islamic Education. She's an understanding lecturer who always gives her all when teaching to make sure everyone understands the course. She shares stories as well to make the class more interesting and it helps us to relate the topics better as Muslims ourselves.

The Class Sessions

This course educates us more on the importance of education in the perspective of Muslim scholars of the past and how it relates back to religion and civilization.

As a future educator, it is with utmost importance that we understand the concepts in this course as a base for us to comprehend the meaning of education in Islam.

ASSESSMENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Our assessments came in the form of quizzes for this course. It was not too difficult but I still had to put a lot of effort when it came to understanding before I answer them.

It gives a better perspective on how education is related back to every part of my life.

There were also assignments where we had to recite surah from the Quran and explaining the meaning of the chosen surah.

This is me reciting Surah Al-Mulk as one of our assignments.
